The inspiration for this project was “seeing an ambulance in India stuck in traffic.” The solution considers the audibility of sirens, lack of visual cues and noisy traffic-choked areas

The solution that was prototyped, built and tested, used an Android phone that communicates the ERV’s path to a server to notify other drivers to pull over.

The idea was proposed at the Google Science Fair 2013 worldwide online science competition.
