The 4th edition of Devthon on October 5–6, 2013 brought in hackers and designers to take all their ideas into action! And we finally got in a couple of Raspberry Pi boards.
Amidst lot of fun and showcase,
We had some young tinkerers,
and some younger visitors to cheer us up!
Danish introduced his Raspberry Pi to everyone. He wanted to get started by setting up a streaming server. It was exciting to hear the music streaming for the corner of the hackspace.
Aravind however, was not very happy with the playlist.
But Danish couldn’t hold back his happiness when he heard the music.
Prajwala got started with visualizing data of MPs from the getRTI project. She also assisted Sujeath and Harsha with algorithms for their city bus mapping project. Collaboration win!
Lots of whiteboard love.
Imran wanted to get his hands on to code this edition. And so he did! He quickly set things up to start working on building SVG based indoor maps for shopping malls using D3.
The action filled weekend closed with an interaction with Billy Zinser, an artist and a toy maker who is also a visual designer who shared his experiences on how he used his art skills to tinker around design.
We thank all of you who came down. If you missed out this edition, please rush to be part of the next one on November 16–17, 2013.
